Judge of the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the RA Court of Cassation
Rubik Hrant Mkhitaryan
Was born in 1973 in the village Damia, Marneuli region of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1995 Mkhitaryan graduated from the law institute “MYUD”.
In 2005, on the basis of part 10 of Article 49 of the RA Law "On Education", according to the procedure stipulated by the RA Government decree № 231-N of February 6, 2003, Mkhitaryan passed the state exams and got the certified specialist’s state diploma of a certified lawyer.
In 2012, Mkhitaryan graduated from the RA Judicial School.
Cultures Cultivation “Shroma” state farm of the Georgian Republic Agricultural Ministry.
From 13.01.1997 to 12․01․1999 worked as a bailiff at the People’s court of Spandaryan district, then at the People’s court of Shahoumyan district of Yerevan.
From 08.01.1999 to 10.02.1999 worked as a compulsory executor in the group of the office of the Ministry of Justice providing the compulsory execution of the judicial acts at Malatia-Sebastia community [district; Yerevan] department.
From 25.01.1999 to 14.02.2007 worked as an assistant judge at the Court of the first instance of Kentron [Centre] and Nork-Marash communities [districts; Yerevan].
From 14.02.2007 to 08.02.2012 worked as a senior specialist at the Judicial department Office of the judicial practice compilation.
From 08․08.2012 to 01.02․2013 worked as a senior specialist at the Judicial department Office of the judicial practice compilation.
From 31․01․2013 to 08․01․2016 worked as a judge at the Court of general jurisdiction of first instance of Ararat and Vayots Dzor marzes [provinces].
From 08․01․2016 to 23․05․2016 worked as a judge at the Court of general jurisdiction of first instance of Arabkir and Kanaker–Zeytoun administrative districts of Yerevan.
From 23.05.2016 to 17․06․2024 worked as judge at the Criminal court of appeal.
From 2019 to 2023 was a lecturer in the domain disciplines at the Academy of Justice “The Independence and the Transparency of the Judiciary”, “The Investigation of the Official Corruption Cases”, “The Investigation of the Crimes Against Intellectual Property and the Measures to Combat Such Crimes” stipulated by the annual educational training programmes for judges.
On June 13, 2024, was elected by the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia as a judge candidate for the judicial board of the Anti-Corruption chamber of the Court of Cassation for the investigation of the corruption crimes.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia dated June 17, 2024, NH-183-A Mkhitaryan was appointed a judge of the judicial board of the Anti-Corruption chamber of the Court of Cassation for the investigation of the corruption crimes.
