The Cassation Court of the Republic of Armenia is the member of the Superior Courts Network of the European Court of Human Rights
The Court of Cassation of the Republic of Armenia is the member of the Superior Courts Network of the European Court of Human Rights since 2017. The basic objective of the mentioned network is to strengthen the sustainable communication between the international court and the national supreme courts and to provide appropriate conditions for the continuous dialogue of the mentioned institutions.
The Court of Cassation also actively participates in the information exchange by means of the described platform providing certain data on official requests concerning the interstate law or practice problems somehow related to the rights guaranteed by the European Convention. Thus, the Court of Cassation is involved in the comparative studies of the European Court.
Using the potential of this platform, the Court of Cassation, in its turn, gains information on the European Court precedent law applying the latter while carrying out its mission of law elaboration.
