Head of the Legal expertise service of the Court of Cassation of the Republic of Armenia
Zhenya Araik Stepanyan
Was born in 1980.
2012–2016 Assistant judge of the Court of Cassation of the RA.
On September 15th, 2016, Stepanyan was appointed senior assistant judge of the Court of Cassation of the RA.
On February 1st, 2019, Stepanyan was appointed chief specialist of the Legal expertise service of the Office of the RA Court of Cassation.
By the decree of the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council dated March 31, 2023, Stepanyan was appointed acting head of the Legal expertise service of the Office of the Court of Cassation of the RA.
Since 2014, Stepanyan is an assistant professor at the chair of Criminal law at the Faculty of Law of the Yerevan State University.
On September 15th, 2016, Stepanyan was awarded the 2nd class rank of Adviser of the Judicial Service of the Republic of Armenia.

Married; Stepanyan has got a daughter.
In 2006, Stepanyan left secondary school № 3 in the village of Noratus in Gegharkunik marz [province] of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2010, Stepanyan graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Yerevan State University; Stepanyan was awarded a Bachelor's degree in law.
In 2012, Stepanyan graduated from the YSU Faculty of Law; Stepanyan was awarded a Master's degree in law.
In November 2017, Stepanyan was awarded the degree of Candidate of Sciences in Law [PhD in Law] by the decision of the Specialised Council 001 of the Higher Attestation Commission.
